Submit a Resource for the Mercedes-Benz R107 SL Class

Thank you for using the SL Registry to help sell your R107.   The Registry’s mission is to document as many R107 as possible and offering a For Sale section helps to achieve that goal. As such, we require that the details of the car’s VIN (chassis number) and options be submitted with the ad. For US cars, this is a photo of the VIN stamp on the radiator support or the VIN plate in the driver’s door jam. For Euro cars, it is a photo of the VIN stamp or the VIN plate which are both located on the radiator support panel.  The option tag will be on the same radiator support panel for all cars.  Contact us if your car is missing any of these tags. Though not required, to get the best price, we suggest submitting photos of the usual rust spots – floor pans, trunk, battery tray, and front chassis legs.  Of course submit photos for the rest of the car including the exterior, interior and engine bay. Good photos generate interest!

Fee for a ad is $5 for 30 days.  At the end of the 30 days, you will be given the option of renewing the ad. The ad will always be in the SL Registry database for future reference.

Please describe your R107 as best you can.  A detailed description will give buyers more information to consider and make them more comfortable purchasing the car. More comfort equals a better price!  Details to include are ownership history, maintenance history, a detailed description of condition. We suggest creating the Description in another program and pasting it into here for final editing
